Please tell me that the more multiple choice questions I do i will be able to grasp the concept and know how to approach the question. Because right now my confidence just went down the hole. My HW score was awful. / @Aisha
@Melantha: It'll get better. Are you reading the explanations? That helps me alot. You've gotta practice some more and you'll get it.
@Aisha: @ melantha yes I have. But then again I left all the multiple choice pretty much towards the end I was attempting to do lectures first. Guess it's a bad strategy
@Melantha: Do the lectures not include going over mcq? My lectures do and that helps. So by the time I start practicing I've already reviewed 15 - 20 mcq already. What review course are you using
@ Melantha: For me it's better to do mcq after I finish the lectures for that area. So for example last night I watched accounting for income taxes. Tonight I will do the mcq for that area only.
@Aisha: I was doing it like that for the first chapter until I met pension and taxes. I'm using Becker
@Jasmine: I am in the same boat. Best of luck!
@Aisha: How long have you been studying @Jasmine?
@Jasmine: Let's see, maybe 5-6 weeks, but I have 4 kids and my time slotted to study is limited! I didn't realized I could break up MC by section, so I thought I had to complete material first. Little did I realize, you can absolutely break it up by section - and my exam is next week and as I recall with the Becker material I used when I took BEC last year, the learning is really in the MC! AHHH!
@Jasmine: I did well with Becker for BEC. Believe I got a 79. MC are huge for learning!
@Nedal: @Aisha don't be discouraged just practice practice practice and you will see the improvement believe me sometimes after watching a video you need to go over the material by yourself and read it by your own to grasp the concepts That is what happened to me when I was studying the comprehensive income and disclosures today I went over the notes that the instructor in the video taught me and did multiple choice questions and I get better grades than I was before I feel that practice get you there don't worry trust me you are fine
@Aisha: wow you guys are great. Thanks! good luck @Jasmine fill us in next week.
@Adam: @Aisha think of it this way the more mistake you find the more chance you have to really understand the concept it is best to find these deficiencies when you are studying so you can improve. and on the day of the exam you won't be making those mistakes
@Aisha: you guys are letting me have it and you all make sense. I guess it is better that way @Adam. Thanks for the support sometimes you need it. Best of luck to all.
@Adam: and @AISHA I have trouble with pension the most I did those MCQ 7 times already and now I am finally comfortable with them
@Aisha: Ha I'm working on that one now, mostly all wrong. So far its my first attempt. I will keep at it Adam .
@Adam: other thing Aisha I watched the lecture over and over again untill I understood SIR AGE
